Data visualization of historic weather information from the Antioch climate station that includes archived daily temperatures.
Climate Change
Climate change is the long-term shifts in temperature and weather patterns. This project looks at how the weather has shifted over the years at the local level for Antioch, California. Details were extracted from the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) repository of weather and climate data; Antioch Pumping Plant 3, NCDC #0232. Based on daily records, monthly averages and the highest recorded temperature for each month within a specific year was identified using SAS, and the results were transferred into an interactive line-chart graph for display.
